Description
Hornsea Mere is a stopover for Ring Ouzel, divers, geese, ducks, various shrikes, Yellow-browed Warbler and Barred Warbler, terns, flocks of Little Gull and Common Scoter in autumn. Mediterranean Gull, Great Egret and Spotted Flycatcher regular. The nearby beach produces shearwaters and skuas.
