Description
Livermere Lake is a stocked fishing and shooting lake 6 miles north of Bury St Edmunds. The lake is mud-fringed, open and productive for waders, gulls, ducks, etc. Among the birds you can expect are Common Shelduck, Northern Shoveler, Common Pochard, Tufted Duck, Little Grebe, Eurasian Oystercatcher, Northern Lapwing, Common Redshank, Red Kite, Eurasian Skylark, Reed Bunting, Greater Whitethroat, Lesser Whitethroat, Lesser Black-backed Gull, Great Black-backed Gull and Red-legged Partridge.

Livermere Lake is located 6 miles north of Bury St Edmunds. You can park in the village of Great Livermere and explore the area on foot from there.
