Description
Malham Cove is a regular nest site for Peregrine Falcon, House Martin, Little Owl, Common Redstart and Northern Wheatear. RSPB volunteers with telescope in attendance. Malham Tarn is a National Nature Reserve and SSSI. There are breeding Common Redshank, Western Yellow Wagtail, Grey Wagtail, White-throated Dipper, Northern Lapwing, Common Sandpiper and water voles. Possibility of Dotterel in autumn and Snow Bunting in winter.

Access
Malham is a short way north of the A65 transpennine road from Lancaster to Skipton. There is no car parking at the Cove, park in Malham village and walk or cycle up. For Malham tarn, leave Malham northward on Cove road and turn right at crossroads.
