Description
The reserve of Morden Heath and Wareham Forest contains all six British species of reptile, plus roe, fallow and sika deer. Otters occasionally. Rare dragonfly species breed in the ponds. Birds include lesser Lesser Spotted Woodpecker, Eurasian Nightjar, Eurasian Hobby, Wood Lark (best site in Dorset), Common Crossbill, Great Grey Shrike in winter, Dartford Warbler, Peregrine Falcon and Jack Snipe.

Access
From Poole and Bournemouth take A35 west, then go left on B3075 for 2 miles, car park is on left. From Wareham go NE on A351 then left on B3075, car park is one mile ahead on right.
