Description
Reddish Vale Country park spans 161 hectares along the River Tame. Sand Martin and Common Kingfisher nest in the river banks. The mill ponds and wetlands are visited by herons, grebes, cormorants, coots and a variety of ducks and geese such as Greylag Goose, Canada Goose, Mute Swan, Mandarin Duck, Mallard, and other birds like Rock Dove, Common Wood Pigeon, Blackbird, Grey Heron and Eurasian Jay.

Reddish Vale Country Park is located in Stockport, Greater Manchester. Car parks are located at Mill Lane (visitor centre), Tiviot Way and behind Woodhall Drive. Press P on the map for directions to a parking. By train: Reddish South Station is 1 km away. By bus: routes 203, 317 and 374 run near the park (Mill Lane). The area has accessible toilets and a cafe.
