Description
St Govan's has great cliff scenery with nesting European Herring Gull and Lesser Black-backed Gull. A walk west towards Stack Rocks will produce good views of Northern Wheatear and European Stonechat. Sea watching can be productive with huge numbers of Manx Shearwater returning to their nesting islands in the summer evenings although a lack of good cover makes sea watching difficult in rough weather.
A small valley runs down to a beach from near the car park and this area, together with thick cover on the walk to Broadhaven 2 miles to the east, can be good for migrants. Red-billed Chough are common on the cliff tops.
