Description
From the hides (one is two-storey) at Stanwick Lakes one can see Common Tern, Barn Owl, Cattle Egret, Little Egret, winter wildfowl such as Gadwall, Northern Shoveler, Eurasian Wigeon, Common Teal, Northern Pintail and Common Pochard. The woods and scrubland have European Stonechat, warblers, Redwing, Fieldfare, Common Redpoll and Eurasian Siskin.

Stanwick lakes is between Kettering and Bedford. It is 300 yards west of the A45 Stanwick roundabout. Click on the P in the map for directions. Parking charge is £3.80 for all day
