Description
At Traeth Lafan during winter one can see Eurasian Oystercatcher, Eurasian Curlew, Common Redshank, Dunlin and Grey Plover in large numbers. Also Little Gull, Red-breasted Merganser, Little Egret, Short-eared Owl, Merlin and Peregrine Falcon, Meadow Pipit and Rock Pipit. Visit either side of high tide for best results (see link to the Tides table below).

By road, 2 miles east of Bangor. Head north of A55 on minor road. Click on the P in the map for directions. The route indicated on the map is about 4 km.
