Description
The Upper Stour Valley is an area of lush wildflower meadows grazed by cattle, reedbeds, small lakes, river and woodland. Dragonflies are hunted by Eurasian Hobby. Occasional otter seen. The reserves have birdboxes, feeders and cafes. Look for Cattle Egret, Little Egret, Reed Warbler, Sedge Warbler, Reed Bunting, Common Kingfisher, Greater Whitethroat, Lesser Whitethroat, Common Snipe, Gadwall, Grey Wagtail and Common Chiffchaff.
