Description
Woorgreens Lake and Crabtree Hill is a prominent wetland site in a thickly forested region. Eurasian Nightjar hunt insects over the water on summer nights. Great Grey Shrike is a fairly regular winter visitor, as are Eurasian Siskin and Common Crossbill. Tree Pipit, Common Raven and European Stonechat breed nearby. Common Snipe frequent the rushy water margins, Tufted Duck and Goosander on the water.
