Description
Hunter's Point is a 900-foot (274 m) hilltop that offers beautiful sweeping views of the Santa Clara Valley. Good place for birding for White-tailed Kite. Other birds you can encounter in the area are Acorn Woodpecker, Wild Turkey, California Quail, California Scrub-Jay, Anna's Hummingbird, California Towhee, Spotted Towhee, Dark-eyed Junco and California Thrasher.

Access
The hike to Hunter’s Point from the Prospect Road parking lot is only 1 km, but steep enough to get a decent workout. You can also park on Regnart Road and walk from there. Click on a P in the map for directions or coordinates.
