Together we are creating a fantastic online guide to birdwatching in Europe with already 5000 described birding areas! Made by and for birders and free for all users. You can help to further enrich the Birdingplaces map by adding new bird watching areas. And if you rate bird areas you have visited with 1 to 5 stars you help other users to get an even better idea of which areas are great to visit.

Win a Leica Ultravid BR 10x25 binoculars

Anyone who rates five (or more) birdwatching areas with 1 to 5 stars between October 1, 2022 and April 1, 2023 has a chance to win a Leica Ultravid BR 10x25 Aqua Dura binoculars (extremely compact and high quality binoculars, see for more info below). Rating an area is easy. Click on the stars on top of a birdingplace or if the area is not yet rated click on the line ‘Rate with 1 to 5 stars’. A winner will be drawn from the participants after April 15, 2023.

Anyone who adds one (or more) birdwatching areas to Birdingplaces between October 1, 2022 and April 1, 2023 has a chance to win a Leica Trinovid 10x32 HD binoculars (outstanding optical performance and optimal colour fidelity, see for more info below). A condition for participation is that the 8 steps of the template have been filled in completely for each area and that the areas have been published on www.birdingplaces.eu before April 15, 2023.
