The Avant-port is a port zone that includes several basins along the river Rhine. It is easy to see the birds from the riverbank. Many knölsvan and sothöna with some gräsand and Storskarv year-round, and vigg and skrattmås in winter. During a cold winter, storskrake is sometimes seen.
