Parc des Gayeulles is nice to visit if you're passing through or live in the area. The park's diverse habitats (meadows, pond, woodlands, etc.) allow a variety of birds to be observed. For example, you'll find blåmes, talgoxe, entita, rödhake, koltrast and stjärtmes. Four woodpeckers live in or pass through the park: Gröngöling, större hackspett, mindre hackspett and mellanspett. As for waterfowl, Smådopping, sothöna, rörhöna and gråhäger are present. There is also a resting place where you can see skrattmås on one of the ponds.

Français: Parc public avec de grandes prairies et quelques étangs et boisements. Présence de grå flugsnappare en été et de stenknäck en hiver. Si vous passez / habitez dans le coin il peut être intéressant d'aller voir ce parc étonnamment grand pour un parc situé à l'intérieur de la ville. La diversité des habitats de ce parc (Prairies, étang, boisements...) permet au cortège d'oiseaux des jardins de le peupler aisément. Par exemple blåmes, talgoxe, entita, rödhake ou encore koltrast et stjärtmes. 4 pics peuplent ou sont de passage dans le parc Gröngöling, större hackspett, mindre hackspett et mellanspett. Parc des Gayeulles is located on the northeastern outskirts of the city of Rennes. Several parking lots are easily accessible around the park. Press a P on the map for directions to a parking spot. The park is also accessible by bus or metro. The park can be visited on foot or by bicycle, but not by car. The circular walking route shown on the map is about 4 km.
