Get up early with high tide, before the dogwalkers appear, and the beach will have plenty of birds in easy reach of a short stroll. strandskata, storspov, gråhäger and rödbena are all likely on the beach around the waterline. roskarl, gråkråka and Sädesärla ssp yarrellii may be more likely on exposed seaweed or flotsam around the tide mark. råka is also possible. toppskarv is most likely hauled out on rocky outcrops, although Storskarv is becoming more common in recent times. skrattmås is common with occasional svarthuvad mås. ejder and gräsand are likely in the water.
For a slightly longer walk a path goes along the cliffs at the north end of the bay where skärpiplärka, svarthakad buskskvätta and alpkråka could be encountered.
