Reached from the main FV2 road head on the coastal track at Salinas del Carmen towards the small beach at Puerto de la Torre and taking the right hand fork at the beach which runs alongside the Barranco. This is a rough track and is best driven using a 4x4, we didn’t have one so we parked at the beach and followed the track on foot.

Check out the coastal track on the way as this is a hotspot for a pair of Barbary Falcon, also the beach area for waders. The derelict building on the beach has spansk sparv and 50m back form the beach in sandy area with bushes there's a very small (3m diameter) fresh water pool next to a solitary tree, this is great for catching drinking birds. We had ladusvala and Rostgumpsvala swooping to drink along with Swifts and Warblers.
