Parque Periurbano Santa Catalina is a nice site for birdwatching due to its wide variety of vegetation, habitats, and altitudes. Coniferous birds are particularly prominent because of the numerous pine trees in the park. But you can also see birds of rocky areas, urban birds, and more. The area is a large forest with points of interest such as Santa Catalina Castle and El Neveral.

If you're driving, you can park near El Neveral, where there is a big parking lot. Press P on the map for directions to the parking. It's recommended to explore the area on foot or by bike.
