The fields near the village of Rodersdorf are very natural with many hedges and fallow areas in which törnsångare, törnskata, and buskskvätta breed. Part of the area is a small nature reserve where trastsångare and other reed inhabitants can be found. Breeding at the church are kaja. In autumn, many birds of prey such as Fiskgjuse, ängshök, brun kärrhök, blå kärrhök and Bivråk pass through. In addition, svart stork move across the area every year. It is also one of the best gulärla spots in the region.
