Afkule is an area of forest, mountains, and sea. The forest is home to mainly smaller birds, from koltrast and rödhake to sammetshätta and kungsfågel. At the lookout point, you'll find birds like klippnötväcka and klippsvala, as well as larger birds like korp, ormvråk, Pilgrimsfalk and brun kärrhök. It's a short trail that is beautiful in itself, but with the bird sounds you experience an even greater sense of wilderness.

Afkule is located 15 km southwest of the town of Fethiye. Parking depends on the weather. If it's dry (enough), you can reach the hiking trail by car or sturdy scooter. If not, you'll need to park well in advance. The last part is definitely on foot, a bit of a scramble over uneven and hilly terrain. Press "P" on the map for directions to a parking spot.
