Beskrivning
Blakeney Point is a National Nature Reserve and AONB. Thriving nesting site for fisktärna, silvertärna, Kentsk tärna and småtärna. Also skrattmås and occasional svarthuvad mås. Common and grey seals breed. Winter wildfowl such as ejder, sjöorre and spetsbergsgås. And rare passage autumn migrants such as Varfågel, större piplärka, tajgasångare and höksångare. sävsångare and rörsångare in the reed beds.

Parking at Cley for those attempting the long difficult walk on shifting shingle to the point. NB the Visitor Centre is currently closed. Park at Morton Quay or Blakeney Quay for boat trips. Check tide times as the car park can get flooded, also boats only run 4 hours either side of high tide. See the link to the tides table below.
