Brandon Marsh has 8 bird hides situated around the reserve, overlooking pools hosting flocks of bläsand, Kricka and Skedand in winter, amongst smaller numbers of knipa. Scrapes host passage waders in spring and autumn, with breeding rödbena, strandskata and mindre strandpipare in summer. Other notable breeding species include good numbers of rörsångare, sävsångare and cettisångare, gök and vattenrall. lärkfalk are everpresent throughout summer and into autumn. During the winter Brandon is often host to a Caspian Gull which winters amongst the gulls on East Marsh, with a few Yellow-legged Gulls mixed in too. Notable rarities over the last few years have included myrsnäppa and tuvsnäppa, brednäbbad simsnäppa, göktyta and rödhuvad törnskata.

Located off Brandon lane, best access is by driving but it is possible to cycle or walk from nearby Brandon village or Binley. Once parked, explore the reserve on foot.
