Beskrivning
Derwent Reservoir is always good for wildfowl, especially for wintering ducks, geese and swans. Fiskgjuse nest locally in spring/summer. One of the owl boxes near the hide is often occupied by Tornuggla in breeding season. Waders (mindre strandpipare, större strandpipare, tofsvipa, rödbena, strandskata, storspov, drillsnäppa) and woodland bird species (större hackspett, Nötväcka, Tit and Finch flocks) are also regular.
