At Flag Lane North Bridle Path Pond you have a high chance of seeing a mating pair of kungsfiskare and their young fishing and feeding. The kungsfiskare nest in the Chester Zoo ground and use the canals to travel to this pond. Other birds you can see in the area are trädkrypare, Kricka, sothöna, rörhöna and gräsand.
