Thanks to its size and rural location Kessingland Beach rarely feels crowded, even during the sunniest summer days, unlike beaches further up the coast at Lowestoft. The beautiful beach has protected nesting småtärna. Lovely beach walk for backsvala. Large lagoon for wading birds with sand pipers. Reed beds for warblers and rördrom and woodland for gök. A superb half or full day bird watching with a full variety must not be missed at the right time of year. Other birds that can be seen here are tretåig mås, större strandpipare,schol strandskata, berglärka and sånglärka.
