Beskrivning
The main attraction of Stack Rocks is the sea bird colony best viewed from May to early July when thousands of sillgrissla crowd on to the Stacks to breed together with smaller numbers of tordmule, toppskarv and tretåig mås. alpkråka are regular here as are Pilgrimsfalk. In the spring and summer stenskvätta are common on the rocky grassland of the clifftops. In the winter a walk eastwards towards St Govans may produce stenfalk, possibly blå kärrhök and good flocks of ljungpipare. Offshore the occasional Diver is possible.

These sea stacks are next to Castlemartin M.O.D. Range (military range). Park at the free car park at SR926946. The road down to the Stacks, west of Merrion Camp, is usually closed during the day wid-week and some weekends due to M.O.D. activity - ring 01646 662367 to check access. The circular walking route indicated on the map is about 1,2 km.
