Description

Réserve Naturelle Nationale de Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines is a protected part of the larger lake of Saint-Quentin and its riparian environments. More than 230 nesting and migrating bird species have been recorded in the 87 hectares of the reserve. Among the birds you can see are Common Shelduck, Northern Pintail, Northern Shoveler, Little Grebe, Common Cuckoo, Water Rail, Northern Lapwing, Common Snipe, Mediterranean Gull, Black Tern, Common Tern, Little Egret, Cattle Egret, Black-crowned Night Heron, Grey Wagtail, Common Nightingale and Common Kingfisher.
